Reconfiguring the Studio
The Children's Hospital project has been delayed numerous times....and to cope, I have been prepping paper, gathering supplies and reconfiguring the studio. Good times! Kudos to Dennis Risch and Becca Risch for all sorts of invaluable help with the studio.

Coming out of the Woodwork
While I wait for approval to start painting the ArtWorks/Children's Hospital pieces (deadline now extended to May) here is what I'm working on . Exploring new palettes, pushing my lean toward cubism and dwellings to something less whimsical (although once the gig begins I'll be all about whimsy!) Kudos to Alt-J who provided the soundtrack for this painting and the title, too.

There now, there now.....there now.
I began this painting about journey, sorrow, comfort and community months ago, when my youngest daughter was trekking through Europe. I collaged bits and pieces of an old Parisian map to mark that time. Little did I know that in this new year, the city of Paris would be grieving , as they are now.
