Northminster Fine Arts Fair

This is a new gig for me. Word on the street says it's a good fair, and I'm all for churches who support the arts, and have broader definitions of "christian" art. I'll have new mirrors and all of the paintings that were left from Autumn Air, none of which have bible verses on them or depict the Last Supper. Remind me to tell you about my black velvet Last Supper painting in art school. Got called into the dean's office! What fun!

Big Pig Gig Proposals!

Here are my entries to the next Big Pig Gig competition......another fine and worthy ArtWorks project, scheduled to "open" in time for the World Choir Games this Spring! These particular piggy paintings will be viewed by prospective sponsors at the end of January, and my hope is certainly that one or both of them will be chosen. If so, I'll be turning my dining room into a pig-pen in which I'll be working on these 4 ft x 4 ft sows! If you or your company might be interested in sponsorship, here is the link. http://artworkscincinnati.org/downloads/BigPigGig/Sponsorship_Packet.pdf

yellow dog

This yellow dog keeps showing up in my work. Here he is in a piece entitled, "yellow dog wanders". The story of the prodigal son ( a strip of it, yep, right out of the good book) hangs from the sky, as well as some other messages that I am unable to decipher but perhaps you can.
