A painting for dear family friends. Quite the challenge this one, it's the biggest acrylic canvas I've done (ever) weighing in at 30 x 40 (in). Included and embedded are maps, math problems, music, and more. The struggle to create a painting, rather than an illustration or a page from the family scrapbook kept me busy all summer. Lots of layers of paint, some cursing, do-overs and wipe-outs and and finally, it is finished.
Who's next?
